PARTICIPATION

Activity Office Hours are 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Phone 742-2730.

CURRENT ACTIVITY FEES

$5 Concussion Baseline Fee is required only once during high school for all sports (no waiver) plus:

$193 per activity – tennis, cross country running, cheerleading, track and field, drama debate/forensics)

$204 per activity – flag football, volleyball, cross country skiing, football, wrestling, basketball, riflery, soccer

$215 per activity – gymnastics, swimming and diving, hockey

 

*A family cap will be implemented once student’s family paid $390 to participate in activities including any combination of middle and high school activities. Save your receipts to show the Activities Office when signing up.

 

Activity stickers may be purchased from the Activities office for $25.00. This sticker allows ERHS student free admission to all “home” sport events and a $1 discount at all “away” sport events.

 

ELIGIBILITY

All students participating in sports, Student Government State Conference, Solo & Ensemble or All-State Art must have earned a minimum of 2.00 GPA and a passed minimum of 5 classes 2nd semester of the previous year to participate in a sport/activity (this does not apply to incoming freshman until the end of 1st quarter). Any student who does not meet this criteria, will be cut from their sport/activity. Eligibility is determined each quarter.

 

Seniors who are on track to graduate (have at least 17.5 credits at the beginning of their senior year) may enroll in 4 classes and still be eligible.

 

ACTIVITIES ELIGIBILITY CHECKLIST

The following items must be submitted to the Activities Office for eligibility clearance. Forms are available outside the Activities Office or click on the links below. Do not submit paperwork to your coach. Complete these steps no later than one week prior to the season start date.

 

Current High School Athletic/Activity Participation Form 16-17
ASD Health Examination Form signed by doctor, student & parent/guardian.
ASAA TAD Form signed by student and parent or guardian after viewing “Play for Keeps” video.
Concussion Fact Sheet/Parent Acknowledgement for sports activities only (signed by student and parent/guardian).
ImPACT Baseline Screening is required once during high school.
Cash or check payable to ERHS or credit card payment via Parent Connect.
